A flexible programme
The course runs over about 03 months, suiting students with busy work and study schedules. Studying online lets you choose when and where you learn.
CMT-standard knowledge
The curriculum and exam prep materials are written by Green Chart from the official CMT (Chartered Market Technician) curriculum. The lecturer is a CMT Charterholder with many years of experience as a professional trader and trading strategy adviser at banks, brokerage firms and commodity firms.
Extra-curricular activities
Every month, Green Chart runs in-depth Trading Talks for former students on different investing and trading topics. The topics are highly practical: they extend what the theory course cannot fully cover, help students review what they learned and keep up with market developments so they can trade and invest effectively.
Retake the course for free
Former students can retake the course completely free of charge, with no limit, until they pass — as long as Green Chart is still running the class. To retake, simply show that you have registered for (or re-registered for) the next exam with the CMT Association.

Questions about the course
Here are some of the common questions students ask about the course.
Does the tuition include the curriculum and exam prep materials? How does the review guidance work?
The tuition includes the full latest CMT curriculum, a question bank and mock exams written by Green Chart to the CMT programme standard. The course also includes exercise review sessions and mock exam practice once students have finished the theory sessions.
I have no background in finance. Can I still take the course?
The course uses plain language and avoids unnecessary financial jargon, so it suits learners from any background. In fact, our students come from many fields with little connection to finance or economics, such as IT engineers, pharmacists, teachers and TV presenters.
Is studying online really effective?
You still ask questions and interact directly with the lecturer, so the quality of the content and the level of interaction are the same as in an offline class.
My English is weak. Can I still take the course?
The course is taught in Vietnamese, but the content and exam prep materials are presented in English so that students get used to the real exam. The course therefore suits both students who want trading knowledge and those preparing for the exam.
Currently, the CMT Level 3 exam requires basic English reading and writing skills, because some questions require written answers.
If I don't fully understand the first time, can I retake the course?
All Green Chart courses have a free retake policy, so you can sign up again for later classes completely free of charge, with no time limit, as long as Green Chart is still running the class.
To retake, simply show that you have registered for (or re-registered for) the next exam with the CMT Association.
Can I try a lesson before I sign up?
Before every exam, Green Chart runs free CMT trial classes for the community called “CMT for Community”. You can find their dates on Green Chart's Facebook page or watch the class recordings here.
